Massage

We use a range of aromatherapy oils for our massages. They come complimentary to your treatment as standard because we want you to get the most out of your massage treatment with us. Aromatherapy oils are amazing for increasing calmness and relaxation, reducing stress, decreasing muscle tension and more. We provide a Swedish, relaxing massage or if you are in need of a deep tissue massage, you can request this in your consultation when discussing your treatment with your masseuse. 

If you are looking to indulge yourself more with your massage treatment you can upgrade to our hot stones massage. Complimenting your massage with hot stones means your therapist can work deeper than the hands on massage. This is because the heat from the stones helps to warm up your muscles and allowing more pressure to be applied. Heat has long been used to ease muscle tension and pain. It also helps to increase blood flow to the affected area. It may also reduce muscle spasms and increase flexibility and range of motion.

Hopi Ear Candling is a relaxing, holistic treatment. Each ear is treated separately, the candle gently burns down and acts like a ‘chimney’ effect, warming the air inside which rises and escapes. This helps to draw out the ear wax in the process. The flicker of the flame creates vibrations that massage the eardrum, encouraging excess wax and impurities to release. As the candle burns down, you will hear a crackling sound which creates a relaxing experience together with a feeling of warmth and comfort. The removal of excess wax and impurities helps to clear the inner ear and sinuses, regulates ear pressure and creates a lighter sensation in the head and ears. The ear candling treatment will be followed by a facial massage specifically focusing on pressure points and lymphatic drainage as this complements the effects of the ear candling by helping to release blockages in the sinuses and ears.
